ASHLEE PEARSON
Ashlee is a researcher and engineering educator based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia with a passion for empowering engineers to work in more equitable and sustainable ways. She is active in the engineering education research space in Australia, currently researching critical thinking skill development and the landscape of inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges and perspectives in the Australian engineering curriculum.
Currently, Ashlee works at The University of Melbourne as a Lecturer in Engineering and Computing Education in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology’s Teaching and Learning Laboratory. She holds a PhD from RMIT University in Engineering (Education) as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours and Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University.
